Here is an easy way to allow other people who have weblogs, websites, face book accounts, a my space page, etc. to add a widget that will display your latest blog posts in a widget. Here is an example of my widget; it took me about two minutes to create. I just input my website address, registered, and copied the code to my clipboard and pasted it here.
I just purchased my copy of "replay media catcher" the software works in tandem with the last.FM music website to record and save all music that I listen to into my music collection on my computer. I have been talking a lot about last.FM lately because I have been run pretty impressed with the new music that I have discovered with it. Here is another project I have under development; I don't know why I didn't set up this site earlier because I have thought about it several hundred times. All of the newspapers in the San Juan Islands have failed to innovate with regards to allowing their visitors to communicate with each other. So I have set up a discussion forum for locals to discuss local news headlines. Ever wish there was software out there that could do certain things? Well I wish I had some desktop "tagging " software. If you have ever used Gmail than you will be familiar with how you can tag your e-mail messages so that you can easily find them in the future. All sorts of software is allowing you to tag things nowadays however I can't find any basic software that allows you to tag files and folders and contacts and other stuff on my computer.
