Software WishList: Flickr screenshot for bloggers

Adding images to your blogs is not nearly as easy as it should be.  The current process involves saving images, uploading images, URLs of images, and it could be a lot easier.  Normally when someone wants to add a picture to their weblog they either want a quick "screen capture" of their entire screen or just a part of their screen.  In this case once the screenshot is completed they would just click okay and the URL of the image would now be on their clipboard ready for insertion into your blog editor.  No saving to your desktop, no uploading; that part would be done automatically. For images developed in Photoshop a "save as URL" option would automatically upload and add [...]

Last.FM and replay media catcher

I just purchased my copy of "replay media catcher" the software works in tandem with the last.FM music website to record and save all music that I listen to into my music collection on my computer.  I have been talking a lot about last.FM lately because I have been run pretty impressed with the new music that I have discovered with it.  The main reason that I am recording songs instead of just listening to them again and again through last.FM is that I'd like to get them in my car so that I can rock out on the way to go surfing, go kite boarding, shop for some cheese, pick up my kid from school, or make a trip [...]
