I guess we can’t really blame them for wanting to make millions of dollars off of the Chinese population; I mean they are just a business trying to do business in another country. However we should pay attention to what this says about the business ethics of Google. They will happily lie by omission to billions of people and get paid handsomely for doing it.
Let us not have any illusions about the way our “information sources” make their business and ethical decisions. They will happily lie to us to make money.
