We are finally on the road. We left this morning from Cody’s house on Capitol Hill. We are now camping at the Wenatchee State Park. The weather has not been great however it could be much worse. We were traveling east on Highway 2 and saw snow on the mountain tops around Stevens Pass.
We will continue heading east tomorrow morning and probably stop for lunch in Leavenworth.
Wenatchee State Park Campground description:
Nice campground right on the lake, complete with the following amenities: volleyball court , sandy beach, super clean restrooms and showers, fire pits, rock climbing wall for kids, very clean and well maintained.
My wireless Internet works from here; more information on that later.
Goodnight.
How to get to Wenatchee State Park Campground: if you are traveling east from Seattle on Highway 2 take a left at the Shell station after you go over Stevens Pass. Here is a link: http://www.camis.com/WA/camping/maps.asp?loc=196
