I have installed a new WordPress plug-in that allows my readers to receive an e-mail notification whenever I post a new blog entry.  This is different than my “comment e-mail notification” WordPress plug-in that only e-mails you when a new comment has been added to a particular blog entry.

To subscribe just enter your e-mail address into the little box next to the “sign-up” button and then click on the button.  You might receive an e-mail that requests that you verify your subscription; you will need to click on a link within this e-mail otherwise your subscription will be canceled.

I am not sure if other blog services such as “blogger” have a plug-in like this available.  For those of you with WordPress blogs you can download and install this plug-in from here:
