12/8/2018: I finally used vehicle for a client website www.classicalfas.com ... the process has been fun but also a bit of a pain. I think a static site would have been cheaper to put together because there are less layers and less moving parts. We're using forestry.io to add pages, add posts, update all sorts of random things, etc. So we will be able to invite the client to the forestry.io site so they can update their site without knowing how to code. I’ve been doing some professional photography work on the side… After I shoot the photos I have someone else help me with the postprocessing of the images. Currently after I shoot my 20 GB of photos and/or video I have the monumental task of getting the media off of the memory cards and to this other person. Normally this means I insert the memory card into my computer where it is automatically added to my Dropbox camera uploads folder. I then share those images with the other person. The problem is that this ties up my main computer’s hard drive space, bandwidth, and forces me to keep it connected to the Internet in order to make the process happen faster. [...]

12/8/2018: We used Jekyll on a project recently and I was happy with the collaborative elements.... we used a github repo connected with forestry.io that would sftp the site to the webhost. Free github plan and free forestry plan. See more details of the process here. 7/7/2016: Update: In fact the files are not actually taking up real space; it just appears to take up hard drive space. I've set an entire folder inside my OneDrive to "available online only" ..... and all of the files have uploaded.... however the files still appear to be taking up local hard drive space. I use an app to visualize the biggest files and folders on my machine.... it is called WinDirStat and is available for free to use and download. WinDirStat is clearly showing that the folder and files are still using space on my local hard drive. I've check my onedrive status and it reports "Files are up to date." I'll report back if I find a solution.
